Overview In this role, you lead complex construction initiatives for LA28 under AECOM Hunt, steering planning, design and build activities with cross-functional teams. You'll shape project objectives, policies, and execution plans to deliver on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction. You will tackle high-impact construction challenges and coordinate diverse stakeholders across the project lifecycle. Responsibilities- Establish operational objectives and work plans; delegate to subordinate managers
- Review progress and determine success metrics
- Develop/modify policies affecting operations and impact areas
- Handle issues requiring deep knowledge of organizational objectives
- Implement strategic policies for methods and evaluation criteria
- Oversee project administration during the construction cycle (technical, financial, client satisfaction)
- Coordinate and execute planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel on a day-to-day basis
Key requirements- BS Construction Management/Engineering
- 10 years of relevant construction management experience
- 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- Experience in retrofitting existing buildings for new use with structural modifications and MEFP upgrades
- Experience in management of design-build contractors
- Ability to compose and buy out scopes of work
- Experience with sports venues (permanent or temporary construction)
