Overview As Lead Corporate Counsel, you will independently review and negotiate a high volume of SaaS contracts, ensuring sound commercial and legal risk management. You'll support the sales function, stay current on applicable laws, and drive compliance in day-to-day activities. You will also help improve templates and precedents and contribute to broader Commercial & Product Support initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of legal, commercial, and governance teams, shaping how we scale responsible data use in AI-enabled products. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams to enable faster, compliant deal execution.

Responsibilities- Review and negotiate a high volume of SaaS contracts through lifecycle to execution
- Handle ad-hoc legal requests from sales
- Understand IP, commercial, and finance requirements for deals
- Keep up-to-date with laws, regulations and industry guidance
- Drive compliance in sales activities and provide training
- Support updates to legal templates and precedents
- Assist with wider Commercial & Product Support projects
Key requirements- 8+ years of commercial contracts experience
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- Member of a State Bar in good standing
