Overview In this role you will lead data protection and governance engagements for clients using Microsoft-based solutions. You will design and implement Purview-based controls, perform threat mapping, and translate requirements into scalable security solutions. You'll mentor analysts, guide delivery, and contribute to proposals and risk management. You will also help teams address evolving AI security considerations to protect data ecosystems.
Responsibilities- Lead or co-lead client engagements focused on data protection and data governance
- Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions (sensitivity labeling, DLP policies, Purview DSPM, retention controls)
- Perform threat mapping and gap analysis across structured, unstructured, cloud, and on-prem data
- Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder discussions to translate requirements into secure Microsoft-based solutions
- Own solution design decisions, configuration, and technical documentation
- Provide technical mentorship to Analysts and Senior Analysts; lead workstreams or small teams
- Contribute to estimations, delivery planning, and risk management
- Support solutioning efforts, proposals, and internal capability development
- Build awareness and controls for emerging AI and agentic AI security considerations (e.g., Security Copilot)
