Overview In this on-site Senior Property Manager role at Colliers in San Diego, you lead and develop a property management team to deliver excellent service for owners, tenants, and vendors. You will manage operations, financials, and stakeholder relationships, while driving growth through strategic client engagement. You'll shape asset positioning and continuously add value with innovative ideas. This role combines hands-on leadership with cross-functional collaboration to advance the local portfolio and Colliers' market position.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the property management staff to ensure clear understanding and execution of policies and operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors
- Mentor team members to achieve organizational goals and maintain high performance
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Expand the business base through regular contact with key and prospective clients
- Manage daily operations with anticipation of challenges and proactive responses
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities
Key requirements- 5+ years of progressive experience managing retail commercial real estate
- Bachelor in Business, Finance or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism with staff management experience
- Experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI
- Exposure to institutional clients
- Strong understanding of financial reports, including P&L management
- California Real Estate License
- Industry certifications like CPM or RPA are a plus
