Overview In this onsite role, you will support HR operations for a busy real estate and property organization in California. You'll serve as a bilingual point of contact, guiding employees and managers in English and Spanish while ensuring compliant, confidential HR practices. You will help manage the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to separation, and assist with recruitment, benefits, and core HR processes. This position involves close collaboration with leadership to sustain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to a culture of clear communication, compliance, and responsive employee support, making a tangible impact on people operations.
Responsibilities- Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, addressing routine questions and guiding policy/procedure adherence
- Communicate HR information effectively in English and Spanish to a diverse workforce
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, orientation, status changes, separations)
- Maintain organized, confidential personnel files and HR records
- Assist with talent acquisition tasks (interview scheduling, candidate coordination, recruitment activities)
- Support employee relations by documenting concerns and escalating complex issues as needed
- Assist with benefits administration, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and core HR processes
- Prepare HR forms, reports, and correspondence; ensure compliance with federal, California, and local employment requirements
- Provide general administrative support to HR and assist with day-to-day operational priorities
Key requirements- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in HR generalist/employee support role
- Familiarity with benefits administration, timekeeping, and HR processes
- Knowledge of federal, California, and local employment laws and compliance
