Overview

In this role you will lead complex Cyber, Media & Technology claims from start to resolution, focusing on coverage, liability, and damages analysis. You will work within a cross-functional team to identify exposures, advise the SompoPro unit, and support underwriting and senior management. You'll contribute to policy language and represent the company at client meetings and industry events. The position offers collaboration across global teams and travel. This is an opportunity to shape high-profile cyber claims strategy within a values-driven insurer.

Responsibilities
  • Proactive management of complex Cyber, Media & Technology claims from inception through resolution
  • Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposures for high-profile claims
  • Provide written assessments on claim trends and exposures to SompoPro
  • Respond to coverage questions and support underwriting and senior management
  • Draft and contribute to Professional Lines policy language and documentation
  • Represent the company at client meetings, mediations, and industry events
  • Collaborate with global claims, underwriting, and other functions on strategic projects
  • Travel as needed to support claim resolution and stakeholder engagement
Key requirements
  • JD required with at least 8 years of Cyber, Media & Technology claims experience
  • Proven experience handling primary and excess Cyber, Media & Technology claims
  • Strong ability to analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposures
  • Experience attending mediations, negotiating settlements, and drafting policy language
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and other partners
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, client service, and computer skills (MS Office and claims systems)
