Overview As a Senior Project / Construction Administrator at Stantec, you support the full project cycle from pre-design to construction administration on Science & Technology projects. You will work onsite with a diverse team to refine design concepts, coordinate building systems, and manage contract administration tasks. You'll contribute to sustainable design decisions and ensure code compliance while collaborating with internal and external partners. This role offers hands-on design exposure, BIM-enabled development, and a pathway to impact the built environment on a global platform.

Responsibilities- Develop design through sketches, models, diagrams, and massing studies
- Evaluate building systems and materials; conduct site analysis and concept benchmarking
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, prepare site observation reports; assist with value engineering and cost estimating
- Coordinate specifications with construction documents; develop design documentation
- Utilize BIM for 3D models and ensure compatibility of building systems with design intent
- Apply building codes and regulatory requirements; develop plans and details across phases
- Participate in design critiques, project coordination meetings, and site walks
- Engage with sustainability principles in building design and environment
Key requirements- Bachelor in Architecture or related field; minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong Revit competency; proficiency with AutoCAD; MS Office; preferred Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Newforma
- Experience in Science & Technology and/or Healthcare sectors
- Understanding of building construction systems, codes, and documentation production
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple project phases
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project environment
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred
