Senior Associate Counsel

Overview

In this role you will support the General Counsel and cross-functionally advise on corporate, real estate and transactional matters that enable Crow Holdings and affiliated entities to execute complex investments. You will help manage due diligence, structure, and governance across deals, while coordinating with outside counsel and senior leaders. This is a collaborative in-house position focused on delivering practical, legally sound solutions that advance the firm's real estate and investment objectives. Responsibilities
  • Provide general corporate, real estate and transactional support to Crow Holdings and affiliated entities
  • Support complex real estate transactions including joint ventures, financings, acquisitions and dispositions; coordinate due diligence and approvals
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (services, consulting, technology, confidentiality)
  • Assist with entity governance and documentation maintenance
  • Coordinate with and oversee outside counsel on complex matters
  • Interface with principals, family stakeholders and senior leadership on legal matters
  • Conduct legal research and drafting related to policies and enterprise initiatives
  • Support monitoring of routine litigation and claims across the enterprise
Key requirements
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Texas (or ability to become licensed promptly)
  • 5+ years of experience as a general corporate or transactional attorney
  • Demonstrated experience supporting real estate transactions and working with deal teams
  • Exposure to joint ventures or complex deal structuring preferred
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills with sound business judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work with senior leaders and external counsel
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
