Overview In this role, you support multi-state property tax compliance for diverse clients within KPMG's SALT practice. You'll work with cross-functional teams to review returns, ensure accurate filings, and leverage PTMS for bill payments and preparation. You'll help identify discrepancies in assessment notices and contribute to client-ready tax solutions. Responsibilities- Provide excellent client service for multi-state property tax compliance
- Evaluate information on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
- Assist in bill payments and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
- Review assessment notices to identify discrepancies
Key requirements- Three years of recent experience, including at least two years in personal property tax compliance preparing returns, payments, and notices using PTMS
- Bachelor's degree
- J.D., LL.M. in taxation or MST preferred
- Experience with other taxes and their impact on property tax
- Strong knowledge of development, planning, and execution related to property tax
