Overview In this role you oversee multiple large natural gas projects, guiding site and staff execution under the Director's guidance. You'll ensure schedules, budgets, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction while supporting strategic growth initiatives. You work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality control systems and drive project performance. Responsibilities- Manage several large natural gas projects concurrently with adherence to schedule, budget, profitability, and quality targets
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems across projects
- Forecast monthly fee revenue and track performance metrics
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members; lead team meetings and resolve issues
- Support training, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in identifying resource needs and key talent; participate in proposals and client presentations
- Maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with other Business Units
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives for the Business Unit and company
- Support sales calls and cross-functional collaboration across departments
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Minimum 10 years of work experience
- Minimum 5 years in utility industry experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing/leading engineering projects in utility or engineering consulting firms as a senior project engineer or equivalent
- Preferred registration as a Professional Engineer
- Preferred ISO Project Management Training
