Overview

In this role, you will manage maintenance planning for analytical instruments at Lilly Medicine Foundry, ensuring reliable equipment and audit-ready records. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule PM/CM work, maintain CMMS data integrity, and coordinate external vendors. This position supports regulatory readiness and lifecycle management of critical laboratory assets, contributing to scalable, compliant manufacturing and drug development. You will operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on patient care and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage CMMS activities for analytical instruments, including asset creation, location assignment, and PM configuration
  • Plan, schedule, and track PM/CM work orders to support equipment reliability and lab availability
  • Maintain accurate, compliant equipment records for inspections, audits, and lifecycle management
  • Coordinate and escort external service providers and vendors for maintenance activities
  • Support equipment lifecycle activities including installation, moves, modifications, and retirements
  • Perform biannual physical inventory of analytical equipment and reconcile CMMS discrepancies
  • Collaborate with LESG Leads, Specialists, Technicians, System Owners, and Lab Operations to ensure timely maintenance
  • Ensure audit readiness and GMP/GxP compliance in all documentation and processes
Key requirements
  • Associate degree in a scientific, engineering, technical, or operations-related field
  • Experience with CMMS for asset management and maintenance scheduling
  • Working knowledge of GMP/GxP regulated laboratories or manufacturing environments
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
