Overview In this Service Advisor role at Lucid, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the service journey, from intake to vehicle handover. You'll coordinate with technicians, document concerns, explain service options, and ensure quality standards are met before returning vehicles. You will manage inspections, warranty considerations, documentation, and payment processes while maintaining CSI excellence. Responsibilities- Greet clients and guide them through the service experience from start to finish
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and report wear or damage
- Document transport damage and process it through BOL channels
- Coordinate loaner vehicles and Lyft transportation as needed
- Maintain CSI by ensuring customer satisfaction with service quality
- Review and revise work orders with accurate time punches and technician outputs
- Address warranty claim rejections within defined timelines
- Obtain signatures for service authorization and collect payments for repairs
- Explain repairs and invoices to customers to ensure understanding
- Act as final QC checkpoint to confirm work meets Lucid standards
- Handle front-desk duties including answering phones and directing inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 2-5 years of automotive experience in a Service Advisor or front-of-house role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
- Ability to document details clearly to support workflow
- Ability to translate automotive concepts for diverse customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary DMS software
- Full-time availability, including weekends or extended hours
- Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training after hire
- Valid driver's license with no recent suspensions (young drivers require 3+ years prior license)
