Overview

In this role you will lead large-scale concrete construction projects, or a portfolio of medium-sized ones, ensuring profitable, on-time delivery. You will coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources to meet project goals while upholding safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
  • Manage large or multiple medium-sized concrete construction projects to ensure profitability and timely delivery
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities through supervisors or teams
  • Monitor progress against scope, budget, and funding parameters
  • Collaborate with clients, general and sub-contractors to execute project plans
  • Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings to guide construction
  • Oversee scheduling, procurement, and use of equipment and materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Travel as needed across the upper Midwest to sites and coordinate teams
Key requirements
  • 5 years of related construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of concrete construction project management experience (highway paving and/or airport construction)
  • DOT operational experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read blueprints and plan sets
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Experience with PM and estimating software (e.g., HCSS)
  • Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6)
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the upper Midwest
  • Ability to work independently
