Responsibilities- Manage large or multiple medium-sized concrete construction projects to ensure profitability and timely delivery
- Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities through supervisors or teams
- Monitor progress against scope, budget, and funding parameters
- Collaborate with clients, general and sub-contractors to execute project plans
- Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings to guide construction
- Oversee scheduling, procurement, and use of equipment and materials
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Travel as needed across the upper Midwest to sites and coordinate teams
Key requirements- 5 years of related construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2 years of concrete construction project management experience (highway paving and/or airport construction)
- DOT operational experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read blueprints and plan sets
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Experience with PM and estimating software (e.g., HCSS)
- Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
- Ability to travel throughout the upper Midwest
