Overview As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the estimation of production costs for bids by analyzing plans, specifications, and site conditions. You will work within the Estimating team to develop budgets, cost analyses, and schedules that support competitive, accurate tenders. You'll engage with owners, designers, and subcontractors to gather quotes and validate means and methods. This role offers impact across marine heavy civil projects and a chance to shape project feasibility and bid strategy.

Responsibilities- Analyze plans and specifications
- Conduct site visits and meet with owners/designers as needed
- Prepare take-offs and budget estimates
- Determine means and methods with engineering analyses
- Conduct cost analyses for project portions
- Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors
- Prepare construction schedules and cash-flow analyses
- Close out bids and prepare supporting documentation
- Occasionally visit projects to prepare cost analyses
Key requirements- 10+ years in heavy civil marine construction with at least 3 years in estimating (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology/Management
- Proficient with standard computer software packages
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Supervisory experience preferred
