Overview In this role you will lead North America gas and LNG market analysis within a global research team. You will combine primary data, proprietary datasets, and forecasting models to assess supply, demand, and price dynamics. You will communicate insights through presentations and research notes while supporting consulting projects. The position emphasizes international gas balances, price formation, and LNG supply flows. Responsibilities- Lead analysis of North America gas and LNG markets, including regional/global supply, demand, pricing, and flows
- Build and maintain forecast models from primary research and proprietary datasets for country-wide, regional, and global markets
- Track LNG liquefaction and pipeline developments to refine supply and flow projections
- Create presentations and research notes to showcase data-driven findings
- Contribute to global forecasting processes for international gas balances and prices
- Produce quantitative and qualitative research reports and market outlooks
- Participate in conferences and client meetings and support business development activities
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of direct industry experience in energy and gas market research or related groups
- Strong academic track record in economics, engineering, finance, or IT
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources (quantitative and qualitative)
- Experience handling large datasets; Python or other programming language is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on attitude
