Overview In this role, you will design and deploy cutting-edge recommendation models to enhance tablet experiences. You will work with a world-class science team to shape how customers discover content and use large-scale computing resources. You will productionize models and mentor other engineers, contributing to products used by millions of customers. This role offers high-impact work and a chance to influence the tablet product strategy and architecture.
Responsibilities- Design and deploy state-of-the-art recommendation models on large-scale infrastructure
- Ask research questions about customer behavior and translate insights into model improvements
- Deploy models to production alongside fellow engineers
- Mentor and share ML knowledge within the team and the broader Amazon ML community
- Contribute to product design, architecture, and implementation for tablet experiences
- Directly impact customer experience through scalable ML solutions
Key requirements- 3+ years of building models for business applications
- PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python or related languages
- Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
