Overview As a Senior Instructional Designer, you'll shape national-security training by translating needs from SMEs into engaging, learner-centered solutions. You will collaborate with instructors, learning technologists, and product designers to design and deliver instructor-led, web-based, and blended learning experiences. You'll apply ADDIE and other methodologies to craft accessible, impactful courses and use evaluation methods to optimize outcomes. The role combines creative design with leadership and mentorship to grow the team's capabilities. This is an opportunity to influence critical training that supports national security missions.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and learning technologists to assess training needs and propose effective learning solutions
- Design and develop instructor-led, web-based, and blended courses with a focus on learner-centered outcomes
- Incorporate accessibility and usability standards into adult learning solutions
- Leverage multimedia, graphic design, and instructional strategies to create engaging learning experiences
- Apply evaluation methodologies (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) to measure impact and refine training
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the learning team and identify new learning opportunities
Key requirements- 5+ years of instructional design experience using adult learning methodologies
- Experience designing instructor-led and web-based training
- Experience applying accessibility and usability standards to adult learning solutions
- Ability to analyze policies and regulations to develop learning solutions
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
