Overview As Project Architect on the Civic + Cultural team, you will lead technical delivery and documentation across all project phases to realize community-centered, sustainable designs. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across California and Texas, guiding design intent from concept through construction. Your leadership will ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and strong client relationships, while mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities- Lead project documentation and contract administration across all phases
- Direct technical delivery from concept to construction with a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with Project Designer and Project Manager to translate design visions into detailed plans
- Oversee schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Conduct quality control on products, materials, and methods
- Lead construction administration to ensure design intent on-site
- Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, regulators, and internal teams
- Mentor junior staff through knowledge sharing and training
Key requirements- Bachelor in Architecture
- 10+ years of experience across all phases of architectural projects
- Active architecture license in California
- Proficiency in Revit and other design tools
- Deep understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and detailing
