Overview In this role you will serve as a senior escalation point for a healthcare IT team, delivering advanced systems and endpoint support across multiple sites. You will manage core infrastructure, hybrid identity, and cloud-enabled services to strengthen operational stability. You'll collaborate with cross-site teams to troubleshoot escalated issues and guide ongoing maintenance, while contributing to cloud adoption initiatives. This position offers hands-on impact in a distributed environment with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and secure, reliable IT operations.
Responsibilities- Oversee core IT platforms including help desk tooling, endpoint management, backup, and patch deployment processes
- Support hybrid identity with on-premises Active Directory, user/computer administration, GPOs, and security group management
- Manage Microsoft 365 administration tasks, including identity configuration, Azure AD synchronization, conditional access, and group-based settings
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for escalated infrastructure, systems, and endpoint issues across multiple sites
- Maintain server and workstation health to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with standards
- Assist with cloud adoption by identifying opportunities to move suitable services to cloud platforms
- Handle selected security and configuration-related activities within the broader systems administration scope
- Mentor entry-level IT staff and act as a senior resource for complex support needs
Key requirements- Experience in a hands-on technical environment
- Strong expertise with Microsoft technologies, endpoint administration, and hybrid identity management
- Proficiency with on-premises Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD integration knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot escalated infrastructure and endpoint issues across multiple sites
- Experience maintaining server and workstation environments in a regulated setting
