Overview In this role you lead cost management services for key clients within commercial real estate programs, guiding teams and coordinating with stakeholders. You will drive value through effective cost control, change management, and reporting across the full project lifecycle. You'll interface with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality delivery, while embedding Turner & Townsend's purpose and values. Responsibilities- Lead cost management teams and ensure delivery across all accountabilities on complex construction programs
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants across all stages of commercial real estate and broader construction projects
- Maintain excellent communication with clients and project teams throughout all phases
- Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management across fit-out, refurbishment, and ground-up developments
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners' representatives, and external stakeholders within the construction process
- Coordinate and assist with delivery of Cost Management and Project Controls across various project types and sectors
- Act as primary contact for reporting the overall commercial status of projects and programs
- Drive best practices in cost management at all project stages; identify and implement process improvements
- Undertake staff performance reviews and support career development; mentor and develop talent
- Set strategy and ambition for the team aligned with client and business objectives; grow high-performing teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8+ years of experience in cost management in construction
- Experience on commercial real estate projects; construction consultancy experience preferred
- Strong foundation in quantity surveying; RICS certification or active pursuit preferred
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
- Client-facing experience and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Ability to lead and manage teams; proven leadership capabilities
