Overview As a Microsoft GSSC Architect at Deloitte, you shape large-scale Microsoft opportunities with deep Azure expertise and cross-functional collaboration. You will advance reference architectures, AI-enabled solutions, and secure delivery models aligned to Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected frameworks. You'll guide pursuit teams through architecture tradeoffs, licensing, and business value, while upholding Deloitte's independence requirements. This role blends strategic shaping with hands-on architecture leadership across Azure, 365, Power Platform, Fabric, and Copilot AI. You'll work in a global, rotational team to accelerate offering development and client impact.
Responsibilities- Contribute to vision and roadmap for Microsoft GSSC initiatives with leadership alignment
- Lead architecture and commercial shaping for complex Microsoft pursuits across Azure, 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Fabric, Security, and Copilot/agentic AI
- Translate business outcomes into secure, scalable reference architectures using CAF and Azure Well-Architected Framework
- Shape responsible AI and agentic solutions including grounding, orchestration, evaluation, and safety controls
- Establish trusted client relationships and guide pursuit teams through tradeoffs, delivery risk, and business value
- Identify reusable assets, accelerators, and industry patterns to differentiate Deloitte
- ArchitectOperate and managed-service capabilities including observability, SecOps, FinOps, data governance and optimization
- Promote platform engineering, DevSecOps, IaC, inner-source, GitHub and Azure DevOps automation
- Champion Microsoft independence requirements in internal and client-facing activities
- Build practice capability through architecture reviews, communities of practice, webinars, and enablement
Key requirements- 8+ years of experience as a consultant
- 5+ years in Microsoft cloud architecture/engineering/delivery with deep Azure expertise
- Architecture experience across cloud-native apps, integration, data, identity, security, resiliency, and multi-cloud
- Hands-on knowledge of generative and agentic AI patterns using Microsoft Foundry and/or Copilot Studio
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Fabric, OneLake, Power BI
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Bicep or Terraform), software supply-chain security
- Knowledge of Entra, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Zero Trust, privacy, data governance, and secure AI design
- Ability to apply CAF, Azure Well-Architected Framework, architecture decision records, FinOps, and workload assessment methods
- Strong pursuit leadership, estimation, licensing and consumption planning, executive communication, cross-functional team-management
- Experience developing reusable assets or accelerators; Deloitte experience and Microsoft independence preferred
- Azure-related certifications preferred; various role-relevant credentials beneficial
