Overview As a field-based medical expert, you will advance scientific exchange and collaboration around an AML development candidate. You will build and sustain relationships with AML KOLs and healthcare professionals to expand awareness and understanding of the therapy. You'll provide non-promotional scientific dialogue, support congress activities, and translate insights into internal medical communications. This role sits at the intersection of Medical Affairs and Clinical Development, shaping evidence generation and education efforts in a dynamic biotech environment.

Responsibilities- Establish and nurture relationships with AML KOLs and healthcare professionals to broaden candidate awareness
- Serve as a field-based scientific resource, facilitating accurate, balanced scientific exchange about AML
- Represent the company at national and regional congresses and meetings, engaging KOLs and HCPs
- Maintain deep AML knowledge, including treatment landscape and literature, to support credible discussions
- Engage KOLs in collaborations, publications, education initiatives, and evidence-generation activities
- Collect and relay medical and clinical insights from the field to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to scientific presentations, training materials, FAQs, and medical communications ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to execute objectives and align strategies
Key requirements- 3+ years as an MSL in hematological malignancies
- Advanced degree in medical/scientific field (PharmD, PhD, MD) or advanced clinical experience (RN, APN, NP, PA-C)
- Strong clinical/scientific AML and hematologic malignancies expertise
- Experience supporting clinical trials, investigators, and development programs (preferred)
- Established KOL relationships in hematological malignancies and ability to communicate complex information
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, clinical-stage biotech environment and collaborate cross-functionally
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
