Sr. System Admin

In this role you will maintain, secure, and update college servers and related applications to ensure reliable IT services. You will provide expert desktop support for faculty and staff across Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, and manage network shares and help-desk issues. You will perform backups, monitor systems, and keep IT assets and LAN infrastructure organized. This position supports a college environment, enabling smooth operations and improved service delivery.

• Maintain, update, and secure servers, databases, and installed applications
• Provide expert desktop support for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux
• Maintain file shares and networked computers; respond to IT help desk issues
• Perform and maintain server backups
• Manage IT asset inventory for the college
• Install, upgrade, repair, or modify local area network file servers; configure printers and devices on the network
• Monitor systems and networks to preemptively resolve issues

• Bachelor or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of audio processing and streaming software/hardware (preferred)
• Extensive PC and Mac desktop support experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in administering large and complex networks and supporting a wide range of customers
• Experience maintaining, updating, and securing servers; installing applications on servers
