Overview As a field-facing Medical Science Liaison, you will share scientific data with healthcare professionals and researchers to support Eisai's oncology/hematology and neurology focus. You will build and maintain KOL relationships, translate research into clinical insights, and mentor newer MSLs while leading special projects. This role drives Medical Affairs strategy in your territory and acts as a bridge between Eisai and the medical community. A strong emphasis is on scientific leadership, collaboration, and ethical engagement in a dynamic, field-based environment.

Responsibilities- Serve as primary clinical/scientific resource to HCPs in the territory on disease states and Eisai products
- Convey updated clinical and scientific information between KOLs and Eisai Medical Affairs/development teams
- Cultivate and maintain peer relationships with KOLs and investigators
- Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to population-based decision-makers
- Support and lead congress coverage activities per the MSL plan
- Identify and report insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs
- Develop and present management plans to support Medical Affairs strategy for the territory
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease states, study methodologies, and product data
- Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced MSLs; participate in special projects
- Facilitate IIS review and support Eisai-sponsored trials; liaise with external investigators
- Lead field medical efforts with professional organizations and advocacy groups
Key requirements- Advanced doctoral degree in medical/health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD)
- MSL: 0-3 years in pharma/biotech/scientific/clinical setting; Sr. MSL: minimum 3 years in Oncology/Hematology
- Strong scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge; clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA and OIG guidelines
- Experience with Eisai therapeutic areas and established KOL networks
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication; strategic thinking; cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to travel 60% of time; valid driver's license; home-based office setup
