Overview As Chief Pricing Actuary, you will lead the global pricing strategy for Everest's Wholesale and Specialty portfolios. You will drive the transformation of pricing into a technology-enabled, analytics-driven function that supports profitable growth. You will partner with underwriting, finance, risk, and technology to implement AI, ML, and data-driven decision science across pricing and underwriting. You will shape governance, scalability, and talent development to build a best-in-class pricing organization. Responsibilities- Define and execute long-term pricing vision across Global Wholesale and Specialty
- Transform pricing into a technology-enabled, analytics-driven function
- Champion AI/ML, predictive analytics, and emerging technologies in pricing and underwriting
- Establish continuous improvement culture and governance for pricing analytics
- Partner with underwriting, finance, risk, and technology leadership to drive profitability and capital optimization
- Develop and oversee global pricing strategies aligned with return on capital and market objectives
- Monitor pricing adequacy via analytics-driven reviews and performance insights
- Oversee design, validation, deployment, and governance of pricing models across businesses
- Modernize pricing platforms and integrate pricing/analytics into underwriting workflows
- Provide strategic guidance on large transactions and catastrophe pricing with catastrophe analytics
- Lead pricing governance, model risk management, and regulatory/compliance alignment
- Mentor and develop a high-performing pricing/analytics organization
- Collaborate with Reserving, Capital Management, ERM, Claims, and Underwriting to support enterprise goals
- Advise executives on pricing performance, profitability trends, and strategic opportunities
Key requirements- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
- Minimum 15 years of actuarial pricing and leadership experience
- Experience leading global teams and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong knowledge of modern analytical technologies and programming languages (Python, SQL, R) and cloud-based environments
- Proven ability to influence business strategy and drive enterprise-wide change
- Experience implementing AI, ML, and advanced analytics in insurance organizations
- Deep expertise in exposure-based pricing, catastrophe pricing, stochastic techniques, and risk segmentation
- Strong understanding of return-on-capital frameworks and risk-adjusted performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
