Overview As Senior Associate, Recruiting Events + Conference Programs, you will coordinate recruiting-related events and conferences to strengthen talent attraction. You will partner with Talent Brand + Recruitment Marketing to ensure events align with employer brand and recruitment goals. You'll manage logistics, onsite coordination, travel and budgets, and post-event follow-up, shaping candidate experiences across conferences, campus programs, and other talent-facing activations. This role focuses on delivering well-run, on-brand events that scale our recruiting initiatives and employer brand. The position begins as a one-year fixed-term engagement with a potential longer-term evaluation.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute recruiting-related conferences, events, and talent activations
- Coordinate cross-functional needs with Marketing, Recruiting, vendors, venues, and attendees
- Translate employer brand priorities into well-run events reflecting Susquehanna culture
- Manage event logistics: venue, hotel blocks, catering, AV, travel, staffing, materials, registration, swag
- Develop and maintain event timelines, budgets, run-of-show, checklists, trackers, and post-event recaps
- Support onsite execution and post-event follow-up, including attendance, feedback, and recommendations
- Coordinate hotel bookings, travel details, and room blocks; track expenses and approvals
- Collaborate with Global Travel team on vendor negotiations and contracts
- Align events with broader recruiting campaigns and candidate engagement goals
- Partner with Campus Strats when events intersect with campus programs and intern events
- Establish scalable, repeatable event operating model
Key requirements- 4-7+ years of experience in event planning or related recruiting/marketing roles
- Strong project management and logistics skills; ability to multitask across events
- Experience coordinating hotels, venues, catering, AV, transportation, registration, materials, and onsite execution
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics while focusing on candidate experience
- Clear communication; ability to create briefs, timelines, run-of-show, trackers, and post-event recaps
- Ability to operate in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Discretion, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset
- Experience in financial services tech, professional services, campus recruiting, or similar competitive talent environments (a plus)
