Responsibilities- Perform research, analysis, design and development of control systems algorithms and software
- Advance wavefront control and adaptive optics capabilities
- Develop stabilization concepts and jitter/beamwalk control approaches
- Implement target detection, tracking, and filtering solutions
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to translate research into operational tech
- Participate in intellectual property evaluations and potential patent work
Key requirements- Experience with electro-optical sensors and/or optical systems or lasers
- Fluency with MATLAB and/or Simulink
- Software and Lab programming (e.g. LabVIEW, C/C++ or similar)
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong communication skills
