Responsibilities- Partner with Franchise Leadership to formulate and execute Chemistry Franchise Strategy across markets, segments, and portfolio
- Translate market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights into actionable strategic recommendations
- Establish a framework for opportunity assessment and prioritization to focus investments on high-value growth
- Shape portfolio narratives to articulate differentiated value and innovation leadership
- Drive field-level strategy by translating priorities into growth plans and investment decisions
- Support new product commercialization and innovation via value proposition development and market opportunity assessments
- Develop organizational capabilities in value communication and value-based decision making
- Collaborate with segment marketing, content, campaign, and commercial teams to translate strategy into execution
- Build alignment with internal partners and leadership to advance Franchise priorities
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic marketing, commercial strategy, pricing, portfolio management, or related roles; OR 5+ years in management consulting in life sciences/biotechnology with focus on strategy
- Proven ability to translate complex market data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing across international stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide direction in a dynamic environment
- MBA, MS, or PhD preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders
- Hypothesis-driven data synthesis and translation into strategic action
- Track record of building and executing franchise or portfolio-level strategies with measurable impact
