Overview

In this role, you support the Mineral Asset Management team within Global Trusts & Estates to protect and preserve mineral asset value. You will work across ownership review, lease administration, and revenue oversight to ensure fiduciary accuracy and compliance. The role focuses on data-driven asset administration and client-facing documentation to support relationships and business development. You'll operate in a structured, risk-aware environment, leveraging technology to streamline research and reporting. This position offers the chance to influence asset oversight for high-value mineral portfolios within a global wealth-management context.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership & Title Review: verify mineral ownership via deeds, leases, title opinions, and related docs; analyze descriptions and ownership percentages and coordinate title curative actions.
  • Asset and Lease Administration: maintain accurate records; process asset setups, ownership changes, and lease updates; upload documents to land database.
  • Revenue Oversight: monitor and reconcile royalty and other oil & gas revenues; resolve payment issues and review joint interest billings for compliance.
  • Transaction, Proposal, and Due Diligence Support: assist with lease negotiations, renewals, acquisitions/divestitures, and due diligence for transactions.
  • Client and Portfolio Support: prepare client materials on ownership, activity, and revenue trends; support relationship management and business development with accurate asset information; utilize approved AI tools when appropriate.
  • Risk, Compliance, and Fiduciary Governance: maintain audit-ready records; identify and escalate operational, title, revenue, and compliance risks in line with Bank policies
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in oil and gas land administration, title analysis, division order administration, lease administration, or mineral asset management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas title documents, leases, division orders, legal descriptions, ownership interests, lease obligations, and revenue payments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a detail-oriented environment
  • Sound judgment and ability to identify, escalate, and help resolve operational, title, revenue, and fiduciary risk matters
