Overview In this role, you will support Blackstone Real Estate funds and serve as a key liaison between fund formation and transaction attorneys and the Legal & Compliance team. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Institutional Client Solutions Group, Tax and Finance to manage compliance and governance across fund activities. You will draft and review fund documents, oversee regulatory filings, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities- Draft and review private placement memoranda with input from client and portfolio teams; coordinate with outside fund counsel
- Review investor side letter provisions and compliance/operations related to fundraisers
- Coordinate AML reviews with US and Luxembourg teams for investors
- Create and maintain fund-specific policies (excuse rights, transfer, redemption, NAV, valuation)
- Oversee compliance for acquisitions/dispositions, including investor allocations and co-investment opportunities
- Support fund accounting, tax, and portfolio management in interpreting partnership agreements and side letters
- Facilitate investor fund transfers and conversions
- Conduct quarterly compliance reviews of LPAs and side letters
- Coordinate annual compliance meetings with outside counsel and internal teams
- Assist with regulatory filings (Form D, Form PF, AIFMD, Form ADV)
- Lead and develop junior team members in executing responsibilities
Key requirements- JD preferred
