Overview In this role, you lead end-to-end Salesforce Data Cloud implementations to help clients harness customer data for smarter decisions. You'll design architectures, map data flows, and activate insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business impact. You'll influence strategy, build trusted client relationships, and shape premier data-driven solutions within Slalom's Salesforce practice. This is a high-impact, client-facing role at scale with opportunities to innovate through AI-enabled data work.

Responsibilities- Gather business requirements and translate them into architecture for Salesforce Data Cloud solutions
- Lead data ingestion, modeling, identity resolution, and calculated insight configuration
- Create and activate segments, drive end-user training, and establish support procedures
- Lead technical conversations with business and technical stakeholders and translate outcomes into implementable designs
- Direct technical teams (internal and client-side) and build lasting client relationships
- Collaborate with digital specialists to deliver premier, cross-discipline solutions
- Contribute to industry research, proposals, and business development materials
- Scope client work and develop proofs of concept (POCs)
- Apply AI tools to refine user stories and optimize data workflows
- Accelerate data preparation and streamline system configuration and design
Key requirements- Experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud across multiple projects
- Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, Standard/Custom Objects, and APEX
- Proficiency in ANSI SQL and Salesforce Data Cloud functions
- Strong ability to present complex concepts with visuals
- Understanding of data management, data quality, distribution, modeling, and governance
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery
- Salesforce Data Cloud certification preferred; other Salesforce certifications (Admin) a plus
- Open to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge of hyperscale data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus
- Familiarity with Einstein Studio and related AI features is a plus
- Experience in creating requirements, stories, and POCs through AI augmentation
