Senior Manager, Enterprise Learning & Development

Overview

As the leader of SoFi's enterprise L&D, you build and scale our learning capability to drive business outcomes. You will define the enterprise learning strategy, shape the learner experience, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed effective development across the organization. This hands-on role thrives in ambiguity, balancing strategy with execution to deliver measurable skill and behavior change. You will influence senior leaders and vendors, shaping a modern, data-informed learning ecosystem that supports SoFi's growth and mission.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead SoFi's enterprise L&D capability
  • Define enterprise learning strategy and build a lean, agile team
  • Set clear priorities for L&D impact across the business
  • Partner with learning teams across SoFi to connect and strengthen internal expertise
  • Consult on complex learning and performance needs to improve business outcomes
  • Lead learning strategy and experience design for enterprise initiatives
  • Shape the enterprise learning experience including Workday Learning and other learning ecosystem standards
  • Establish standards, tools, and best practices for effective learning with a strong employee experience
  • Influence learning content and vendor strategy, leveraging shared investments and external expertise
  • Utilize data and learner insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness and experience
Key requirements
  • Significant L&D experience including building or transforming an enterprise learning capability
  • Deep expertise in learning strategy and design and adult learning principles
  • Strong consulting skills with credibility with senior leaders
  • Experience designing learning with subject-matter experts across functions
  • Strong judgment and prioritization to focus a lean team on impact
  • Experience with enterprise learning technology, content, and vendors
  • Comfort with ambiguity and hands-on leadership while guiding a team
