Responsibilities- Lead small, cross-functional Agile teams to design, develop, and implement training, education, and planning solutions
- Act as Product Owner, translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories and a prioritized backlog
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software in a DevSecOps environment per DoD standards
- Collaborate with domain experts, integrators, PMs, and capability vendors for seamless delivery
- Influence architectural direction and mission-focused solutioning for distributed training
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence
- Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to best practices
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and DoD software trends to drive innovation
- Champion Agile Scrum practices and continuous improvement
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years in software engineering with focus in Modeling & Simulation, 3D data visualization, or systems integration & test
- 4+ years in a leadership role within an Agile Scrum environment (Scrum Master or Product Owner)
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and DevSecOps in DoD context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with DoD personnel and stakeholders
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Jira
- Domain knowledge in LVC distributed training or Space/Missile Defense domains; active DoD Secret Clearance
