Overview

Senior Robotics AI researcher to advance embodied AI for ADAS/Autonomy, robotics, and industrial automation. You will push AI-driven robotics capabilities, leverage large vision-language-action models, and collaborate across global teams for seamless tech transfer. You'll engage with academia and industry to publish and patent findings, driving real-world integration on Bosch platforms. This role combines cutting-edge research with practical deployment in a mission-driven, innovation-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct core AI/ML research to enable embodied AI for ADAS/AD, robotics, and related domains
  • Advance AI-based robotics using large vision-language-(action) models for reasoning and explainability
  • Collaborate with global research and engineering teams for smooth technology transfer and integration
  • Implement research into real-world challenges ensuring high-quality system integration on Bosch platforms
  • Engage with academic and industry communities through conferences, workshops, and events
  • Document findings and disseminate via publications and/or patent submissions
Key requirements
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics or related discipline or Master's with >=2 years industry experience in AI/vision/robotics
  • Min 5 years R&D experience in AI technologies including computer vision and robotics or automotive motion/behavior planning
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Hands-on reinforcement learning experience (e.g., PPO, DQN, DDPG) and familiarity with RL techniques
  • Strong publication record in ML, DL, robotics, CV
  • Portfolio of publications in premier ML/robotics venues
