Overview In this role you will lead the electrical engineering scope for industrial facility projects, shaping site power distribution, lighting, signaling, and controls. You'll work with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver concept through construction, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance while mentoring junior engineers. The position blends design leadership with client interaction and proposal development in a collaborative, seller-doer culture. You'll contribute to complex, nationwide projects and help grow the electrical group.

Responsibilities- Scope and lead the electrical design on projects (site plans, power/signal/lighting, equipment layouts, one-lines, controls)
- Support construction administration: interpret plans, observe construction, ensure conformance to specs and schedule
- Mentor less experienced engineers and develop the next generation of staff
- Lead engineering and design teams, owning technical, quality, financial, and safety aspects from concept through construction
- Collaborate with electrical group management on proposals, client relationships, opportunity tracking, and client presentations
- Engage in flexible, hybrid work and travel as needed (up to 15%)
Key requirements- 10+ years of progressive technical design experience in industrial facility/site power distribution, lighting, and control/signal systems
- 2+ years of managing electrical or multi-disciplined projects with service fees exceeding $300,000/year
- PE (Professional Engineer)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and MS Office
- Experience coordinating design standards across Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines
- Construction administration experience including observation and inspection
- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to write specs and lead discussions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
