Overview

As a Concrete Quality Control professional, you ensure civil and structural construction meet quality requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage QA/QC, submittals, and field inspections, driving prevention of non-conformance. You'll lead technical submittals with the Project Management team and champion continuous improvement across projects. This role blends data-driven decision making with hands-on quality control to support safe, reliable infrastructure. You will contribute to a safety-first culture and complex, large-scale projects.

Responsibilities
  • Daily quality control reporting and data analysis
  • Subcontractor management and coordination
  • Submittal management and ensuring completeness/accuracy
  • Leading quality phase meetings and field QC inspections
  • Integrating quality management systems into project workflows
  • Leading the PM team in preparing technical submittals
  • Driving continuous improvement across projects and company
  • Ensuring testing, inspections, and lab coordination meet contract requirements
  • Maintaining Defects/Non-conformance logs and timely reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with client specifications and project plans
  • Managing start-up activities and client deliverables per contract requirements
Key requirements
  • 1-5 years in concrete airfield construction inspection or QA/QC/project management
  • Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Transportation Construction Inspection Certification
  • Willingness to travel in the United States
  • Ability to work independently
  • 6 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
  • Experience with submittal management
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
