Overview In this role you oversee construction and renovation across diverse property types, traveling between sites to lead contractors, ensure safety, maintain schedules and budgets, and report progress to owners and project teams. You will work with cross-functional partners to resolve issues, drive quality improvements, and manage procurement and logistics. This position offers hands-on leadership across multifamily, hotel, and senior living projects with a strong focus on safety and on-time delivery. You will be instrumental in coordinating field teams and applying best practices to scale operations and deliver resident-safe outcomes.

Responsibilities- Travel to and supervise multiple job sites across multifamily, hotel, senior living, assisted living, apartments and student housing to ensure specifications, quality and timelines
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and on-site staff; enforce safety protocols and local code compliance
- Conduct regular site inspections, document progress with reports, photos and punch lists, and track milestones to meet schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and owners to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Manage procurement and material logistics; verify deliveries, manage inventory and reduce waste
- Prepare progress reports, change orders, and maintain project records in the project management system
- Coach and mentor local site teams and subcontractors; drive continuous improvement in quality, scheduling and safety
- Respond to site emergencies and coordinate corrective actions to maintain safety and satisfaction
Key requirements- 5+ years of superintendent or construction management experience including hands-on site supervision across multifamily, hospitality and senior living projects
- Traveling superintendent or multi-site oversight experience with willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, ADA, fire/life safety, and best practices for multifamily, hotel and senior living facilities
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and subcontractors; experience with change orders, RFIs and project documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership and conflict-resolution skills; professional interface with owners, residents, vendors and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with project management and construction documentation tools (Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable travel; OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR or safety certifications are a plus
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred but not required
