Overview In this role you will manage footwear samples for your division, ensuring timely availability and accurate showroom presentation. You will coordinate inbound and outbound samples for events, photoshoots, and meetings, while keeping showrooms organized and up to date. You'll work with cross-functional teams to support product development, sales, and marketing efforts. This position offers hands-on experience in sample logistics, showroom operations, and global coordination within a leading lifestyle brand.
Responsibilities- Maintain and audit division showrooms multiple times daily, organize walls, add new styles, and remove outdated items
- Create table displays of key styles and ensure correct samples are in place
- Coordinate domestic and international sample shipments for conferences, trade shows, and shoots; track ETA and distribute samples
- Collaborate with Asia offices on sample timing and ensure timely delivery and distribution
- Fulfilling sample requests with tracking information; work with sales and product teams to manage rare/keep samples
- Coordinate online display of samples with Digital Imaging team and ensure accurate product images
- Print development reports and manage NA/SLS/INA/CAN/AKS samples; maintain logs of all styles
- Monthly rotational duties including invoicing, shipping to China, mail distribution, and inter-office sample logistics
- Provide cover for receptionist duties and support general office operations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 1-2 years professional experience in an office environment or footwear retail
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Must be organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift and move footwear sample boxes; travel between Skechers offices as needed
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Product Development, Fashion, or Design
