Overview

As a senior contributor in our Buildings practice, you will lead design development for complex projects, balancing architectural vision with BIM-enabled delivery. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team to create fiscally responsible, cutting-edge designs that conform to codes and sustainability goals. You'll guide integrated design proposals, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and mentor colleagues through all project phases. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact buildings within a global, design-driven firm focused on sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large, high-complexity projects
  • Develop designs through sketches, models, and diagrams; support massing studies
  • Utilize BIM to develop 3D models of buildings and components
  • Participate in design critiques and pin-ups
  • Interpret and apply building codes and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and revise documentation across architectural phases (site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details)
  • Participate in bidding, addenda, and contract administration tasks (RFIs, shop drawings)
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams
  • Support client requirement meetings and value analysis; assist in cost estimation
  • Coordinate specifications with construction documents; participate in constructability reviews
  • Conduct quality assurance/quality control on projects
  • Support project scheduling to meet budgets and timelines
  • Mentor and lead teams through all phases of document production
  • Collaborate effectively in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Deliver strong presentations and client interviews
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Licensure preferred; LEED AP desired
  • Strong knowledge of architectural document production and code compliance
  • Proficiency with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD; Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp; Microsoft Office
