Responsibilities- Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including planning, tax strategies, and administration
- Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs
- Manage estate administrations from probate through final closing, ensuring tax filings and legal requirements are met
- Prepare client presentations and perform tax calculations and analyses
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver high-quality service
Key requirements- 5-7 years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
- JD from a top-tier law school with strong academics
- New York Bar Admission or ability to waive in
- LL.M. with strong tax background
- Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and manage client contact
- Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment
