Overview As Immunology Pipeline MSL, you will advance AstraZeneca's immunology programs by enabling scientific dialogue and trial engagement. You'll build external relationships with investigators and health care professionals to support AZ-sponsored trials across rheumatology and gastroenterology. Your field-based expertise will inform protocol design, site strategy, and recruitment efforts in collaboration with R&D and medical affairs teams. Responsibilities- Deliver scientific and medical exchange at portfolio level, including immunomodulatory antibodies and small molecules
- Build non-promotional relationships with investigators, study staff and referring HCPs at investigational sites
- Identify stakeholders and opportunities for engagement with R&D and medical affairs
- Educate clinical trial sites and referring physicians on AZ's immunology portfolio and study designs
- Map disease and investigator networks, identify new sites and referral pathways
- Support feasibility by assessing patient pools, standard-of-care patterns, and trial competition
- Share insights with R&D to inform protocol design, site strategy, and recruitment tactics
- Collaborate with Site Management and Monitoring to optimize enrolment and address site issues
Key requirements- Advanced scientific degree as listed above
- Minimum 2 years field medical experience (MSL or CTL) or 2 years clinical trial research experience
- Excellence in scientific communication across diverse audiences
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining medical scientific expertise
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
