Overview In this role you serve as the client's owner representative on large data center construction sites, leading EHS programs and ensuring environmental compliance. You'll work with site teams and contractors to promote a culture of safety, monitor regulatory adherence, and report on EHS performance. The role combines field leadership with cross functional collaboration to reduce risk and drive safe construction execution. This position offers a chance to shape safety programs across multiple sites and contribute to complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety and health programs to reduce risk
- Supervise EHS personnel on projects and monitor hazards
- Advise contractors on corrective actions for deficiencies
- Review CEHSP for conformance with owner requirements and regulations
- Provide data on EHS performance (KPI, incident management, environmental monitoring) to construction management
- Draft reports to federal, state, and local agencies and client stakeholders
- Deliver site-specific EHS training and client-specific campaigns
- Lead or support global EHS programs and localization efforts
- Conduct field audits, document verification, and interviews
- Investigate accidents and concerns related to hazards
- Ensure field safety walks and RAMS/JHAs evaluations are conducted
- Foster collaboration with client operation teams to manage EHS aspects
- Coordinate with resident agency representatives and other agencies on EHS activities
- Travel to local project locations as needed
- Lead a team of EHS specialists or support personnel (as applicable)
- Maintain knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and ensure compliance
- Prepare and communicate lessons learned from safety events
- May manage an EHS program on large or multiple projects
- Support waste, stormwater, spill prevention, air permitting programs
Key requirements- BS/BA plus 6+ years of construction safety experience or equivalent
- Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards
- Valid Driver's License and pass MVR review
- US citizenship required for this role
- Preferred: 8+ years in construction safety
- Experience overseeing multiple trades on construction projects
- NFPA 70E Certification, OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training, OSHA Authorized Trainer
- Certified Safety Professional or similar certifications
