Overview In this role you will execute and optimize experiments to generate robust data for biopharma studies. You work with cross-functional teams to plan studies, analyze results, and ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory guidelines. You'll translate literature into lab methods, develop new protocols, and clearly communicate findings to program teams. This position combines hands-on lab work with data interpretation to support scientific objectives and regulatory documentation.
Responsibilities- Follow experimental designs and protocols to obtain reliable results with limited supervision
- Plan, conduct, analyze and record experiments and interpret data
- Review literature and adapt methods for lab use
- Develop and implement new protocols to answer biological questions
- Engage with coworkers to discuss findings and communicate interpretations to program teams
- Operate standard laboratory equipment and master key techniques
- Troubleshoot equipment and experiments
- Contribute to reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosures and/or patents
- Maintain ELN entries, data recording, safety, and compliance practices
Key requirements- Bachelor in Biology or related life sciences
- experience in a biopharmaceutical working environment
- Hands-on experience with in vivo and in vitro pharmacology is preferred
- familiarity with molecular biology and cell-signaling techniques such as immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, RT-qPCR, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA
