Responsibilities- Lead scalable mobile platform architecture across iOS and Android enabling multiple teams to work in parallel
- Define architectural patterns for intelligent mobile clients and cloud interactions
- Oversee battery-optimized location-based features including background tracking and geofencing
- Architect on-demand delivery strategies with OTA configuration to optimize size and release velocity
- Design secure, high-throughput integration layers with backend services and enterprise systems
- Govern release management practices including trains, feature toggles, and environment gates
- Embed security, dependency auditing and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines; oversee app store governance
- Collaborate with Mobile Eng, AI/Data Science, Product, UX/UI and Security to translate roadmaps into execution
- Implement token-driven UI architecture to ensure consistency across teams
- Partner with platform and data teams to enforce performance and analytics standards
- Champion on-device ML models and local inference for privacy-first experiences
- Develop and mentor high-performing engineering teams with a learning culture
Key requirements- Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise mobile apps for iOS and/or Android
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-team mobile architectures
- Deep knowledge of mobile system design, performance optimization and background processing
- Experience integrating mobile platforms with enterprise backends and APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Strong CI/CD, release governance and application lifecycle management
- Security best practices in mobile platforms, including dependency management and secrets handling
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align outcomes with business goals
