Overview

As a Project Manager at Weston & Sampson, you will lead planning, execution, and control of diverse infrastructure projects. You will work with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget, while guiding teams toward high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes coordinating multidisciplinary activities, estimating and budgeting, and driving project success across water and infrastructure domains. Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and control project activities to meet scope, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and architects to define requirements
  • Develop project plans including scope, objectives, budget, and schedule
  • Prepare budgets and track expenses throughout the project
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members
  • Assist in estimating new construction and repairs
  • Prepare proposals for upcoming bids and complete buyouts for new jobs
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedule work, and manage project labor requirements
  • Occasionally perform hands-on construction tasks as needed
  • Provide recommendations for improvements for future work
  • Travel overnight as required and work weekends/overtime occasionally
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years of construction industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field
  • Water/Wastewater pump station and treatment plant experience preferred
  • Experience managing teams and subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Knowledge of project financials and budgeting
  • Proficiency in project management software/tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • DOT health card or ability to obtain, valid driver's license, OSHA 10 required
