Overview As PaaS Architect for VMware Tanzu, you design and implement enterprise-scale cloud-native architectures across multi-cloud environments. You will lead platform-building efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align Tanzu solutions with business goals. You tackle scalability, security, observability, and automation while guiding DevOps practices for CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC. This role offers hands-on leadership in deploying Tanzu, OpenShift, and Kubernetes at scale, with impact across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem. Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud-native architectures using VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
- Provide technical leadership for Platform Building and multi-cloud deployments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align Tanzu solutions with business and IT objectives
- Guide DevOps teams on CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC practices
- Ensure scalability, security, observability, and automation in Tanzu environments
- Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and governance for Tanzu workloads
- Support live project execution as an architect in cross-functional teams
Key requirements- 15+ years in architecture/leadership roles in cloud-native environments
- Hands-on design and implementation experience with VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, Kubernetes
- Experience with Tanzu K8s Grid, TAP, TMC, and Tanzu Data Services
- Multi-cloud deployment expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and technical leadership
