Overview

In this role, you will design and deploy data-driven ML solutions for enterprise clients, contributing to scalable, production-ready systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics-driven approaches and to grow CapTech's ML and Data Science practices. You'll work across data platforms and cutting-edge AI techniques, delivering measurable impact for diverse industries. This position offers a path to lead client engagements, drive proposals, and mentor junior engineers while advancing your expertise in AI at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Strategize with client teams to implement end-to-end ML solutions and explore new ML approaches
  • Decompose client needs into data-driven processes and analytical measures
  • Analyze and transform large datasets on enterprise data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical solutions (e.g., recommender systems, NLP, risk scoring)
  • Productionize ML systems focusing on optimization and scalability to meet client requirements
  • Grow ML & DS practices by delivering client presentations, writing proposals, and leading junior teams
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data (multi-billion records)
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar languages
  • Proficiency with SQL, Spark, NoSQL, and cloud data processing frameworks in production
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and microservices
  • Experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL, Amazon RDS)
  • Experience building production-scale ML systems in domains like personalization, NLP, or computer vision
  • Knowledge of DevOps, statistics, model management/versioning, and prompt engineering for LLMs
  • Collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and client-facing presentation abilities
