Overview In this role you will provide IT systems engineering and admin support for Windows and Linux environments within Lockheed Martin Space. You will ensure smooth operation and integration of OS, hardware, and applications across the enterprise. You will drive performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with network teams to maintain secure, multi-user systems. This position supports the Bobcat program and aims to sustain resilient, efficient IT operations in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Plan, test, install, and integrate OS upgrades and software components
- Monitor and optimize system performance and resources
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems
- Coordinate with network administrators to maintain operations
- Set up administrator/service accounts and maintain documentation
- Install system-wide software and manage mass storage allocation
- Evaluate vendor products and advise on hardware/software purchases
- Develop and monitor resource allocation policies and standards
- Provide backup/recovery support and user interaction
- Develop policies for computing resource usage
Key requirements- Networks and Computer Systems Administration experience related to Systems Engineer/IT
- Experience with Windows Server administration
- Security+ or CASP or CISSP certification within first six months
- Experience with SCCM and SCOM
- Active TS/SCI with FSP clearance
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective written and oral interpersonal skills
