Overview In this role you drive regulatory permitting for oil & gas midstream and energy transition projects, shaping how complex pipelines advance within US regulations. You work with a cross-functional team to navigate agency reviews and stakeholder engagement, delivering compliant permits and technical submissions. You'll build client relationships, support business development, and lead project execution with a strong emphasis on safety and HSSE. Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition initiatives across the US
- Manage permit applications and agency coordination for Threatened and Endangered Species, Sec. 404/10, Coastal Zone Management Act, and Sec. 106 Cultural Resources
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, including pursuing new business and supporting proposals
- Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions
- Support implementation of Health, Safety and Environment policies and coordinate with HSE professionals
- Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists to ensure consistency in project execution
- Contribute to a larger midstream & energy permitting team with opportunities across multiple projects and offices
- Demonstrate ability to manage pipeline projects and work under pressure with strong communication and client-focus
Key requirements- Demonstrated experience managing pipeline projects
- Experience permitting large natural gas or liquids pipelines
- FERC and NEPA requirements and processes knowledge
- Experience managing FERC-regulated projects including 7(b)/7(c) and prior notice/blanket authorization
- Experience managing resource report development for FERC-regulated projects
- Strong oral and written communication; customer-focused
- Ability to foster and grow client relationships
- HSSE policies understanding and client-specific training as required
- Project and task management with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
